Geotechnical campaigns
All of the civil engineering works need a recognition geotechnical ground, more or less extensive, both in building and civil works.
Therefore geotechnical campaigns are planned depending on the complexity of the work, the life of the structure and information available on the ground in the area in question.It is essential to find a balance between the different types of examinations (visual, by extraction of ground, on a test-site and / or specific tests),so that terrain features can be established correctly.
Geotechnical campaigns conducted by our department include, in general, the following work:
- Planning and geotechnical recognition.
- Conducting field work with our own machinery (rotary drilling, test pits, geological and geotechnical cartography).
- Special testing resistance: dynamic penetration, penetration static with pore pressure interstitial dissipation.
- Special testing deformability tessts: pressuremeters and loading plates.
