Materials (AM)
Currently, most prefabricated are subject to strict internal control of production, offering technical features and the use of warranties. No less true is that defects are detected statistically attributable to the production, transportation, storage or use.
From our department is verified through standardized tests, the materials used to meet work requirements within the marked CE or technical features offered by the manufacturer.
In order to achieve this goal, the laboratory has accreditation AM, which integrates all the control tests of precast concrete and ceramic used in construction, factories, roofs and pavements.

Ultrasonics Tests
The rehabilitation of wood structures, presents a specific peculiarity because it is bio-based materials subject to degradation over time. So in GIA, SL We have developed a complete working methodology, based on inspection and auscultation techniques nondestructive in order to obtain maximum information from the elements under study and thus facilitate decision-making.

This technique is based on measuring the puncture resistance of a needle drill of 1.5mm in diameter that penetrates into the wood with a regular progress, and measuring the penetration resistance.
